2023 Grenache Rosé

100% Grenache.  Heron Bluff Vineyard. 

With the 2023 vintage we continued using purpose grown Grenache fruit for our rosé, but have shifted to Heron Bluff Vineyard for our source. This wine was sorted, crushed, and destemmed, spent about 4 hours on skins, and then was pressed. A 14 day fermentation was completed to dryness, and malolactic fermentation was blocked to retain the bright acidity and freshness.

Tasting Notes:  The 2023 Rosé comes across with delicate aromas of rose petal and grapefruit on the nose.  With the first sip you have all the feels of summer: strawberries, subtle floral aromas, with a twist of citrus.
