2023 Grenache Blanc
100% Grenache Blanc. Crater View Vineyard.
Our first Grenache Blanc, and our first foray into Southern Oregon! We wanted to make this wine with an eye to summers on the patio, and so we fermented it dry and blocked malolactic fermentation, much like what we do with our Grenache Rosé. The finished wine has a great weight and mouthfeel, starting with a bit of richness and viscosity and then proceeding to a crisp and clean finish.
Tasting Notes: This wine starts with a soft and pretty nose filled with wisps of lemon balm and tropical fruit. The palate is a grand adventure of lemon curd, lime zest, and toasted merengue. It's zippy acidity and hint of salinity on the finish leaves you craving a little more. This would be a fantastic accompaniment to grilled seafood and warm weather.

Fermented in stainless steel without malo-lactic fermentation, this 2023 Grenache Blanc is lively and bright. The palate bursts with flavors of crisp green melon, tangy pink grapefruit, and zesty lime. A subtle crushed stone minerality adds depth, while the smooth, supple finish rounds out this refreshing, nervy wine. Only 57 cases produced. — Jeremy Young

This Oregon-based winery is quite skilled at paying homage to the Rhône. Ocelli's Grenache Blanc opens with really rich, hunger pang-inducing marzipan and peach jam aromas. A lightning bolt of acidity then revs up tart pineapple, saline and white tea flavors. Grab a baguette and some Beaufort cheese to pair with this gem. — Michael Alberty

This wine was fermented in stainless steel with no malolactic fermentation. It has a light copper color. The aromas bring notes of strawberry, herb, and cherry. Medium-bodied, textured, bone-dry flavors follow. There’s pleasing tension and richness. — Sean Sullivan
